Avoid Virgin Purple Sim

Would have given zero stars but not possible.So had new sim for a while finally decided to use as I got fed up with reminders emails. BIG MISTAKE. Letter that comes with it said "up and running in ten minutes not true. Nowhere on the letter does it say you have to ring VM to activate sim When finally got through to VM they said problem was because sim wasn't activated but would be working soon. Went into VM shop told would take 24 to 48 hours. Phone still not working 4 days later. VM blame EE who say it is a VM problem which they know about !. Laughable unhelpful suggestions include turn phone on and off again, search for another network and try and connect then try VM again ie manual search; can't be done if sim not working. Phone locked completely. VM technical centre clueless as are their shops; amateur sales staff who know nothing about tech issues. Have had to buy new phone and ring VM again for PAC code which they were very reluctant to give suggesting I ring tech services again ! Advice run a mile when puple sim arrives and just change provider. Fed up ex customer

New Virgin Mobile Sim Cards, why did the change them, why can't customers use them abroad anymore and other problems like signal dropouts?
